Are the docks on the Southeast side of the lake where everyone fishes from?

Yes that's where most people fish. I thought you were going to fish the dock tournaments this year?

Yeah that's what I thought too. The Saturday it would have worked out for me (the first one) I ended up catching Phenomena.  I have been able to get out a couple Sundays over to CJ. Nothing special but I caught fish.

Planning to hit the docks (first time) this weekend. Primarily, I’m looking to set-up/learn how to use my Elite 4, but I will obviously be fishing too. Would you suggest ice rods or “normal” crappie rods (7’) for fishing the docks with sonar?

Personally I like my ice rods when I have my Marcum with me.
