Title: North vs south over nite lodging
Post by: Ntoiceman36 on December 02, 2015, 11:13:26 AM
To all who are considering the event I'm trying to arrange over nite accommodations at a hotel near mosquito reservoir and secure a discounted rate for ifo members. I would like for the tournament to be Saturday  January 23rd,then the following day would be the NE OHIO PAN FISH SERIES mosquito event. Just a thought so members who make a long drive have options, let me know what you think so I can make it happen.

I don't need it but.....there are a few hotels on rt 5 where 80 crosses it. If you need a starting point.

It's not looking good for early ice on Erie, so I would like to get in on some Mosquito action. Will this be a walleye tourney? What part of the lake can be fished? Please fill me in on some of the details. Thanks.

It will be both a walleye and panfish tourney. There will be more details to come in the near future.

Thanks Slabslayer, sounds good, I would like to see it held on the South side if not the entire lake. If it's just a IFO thing I believe we can trust our guys to play fair. The North side can be some tough fishing especially for walleye. But no matter what side the tourney is held, I would come fish and help out.

It will be a whole lake event. Still working on the details for check in and weigh in, but it looks like causeway sporting goods. Linda always takes care of the IFO team up there.

Slabs layer,
Your spot on about Linda at causeway always taking care of IFO. It only makes sense to have the weigh in/ check in there. There is always a great selection of ice lures and equipment there. Thank you for all the work you do for IFO and putting together tourneys.

The way things are shaping up, looks like it might be a boat tourney instead of an ice tourney, unfortunately.
