Title: North vs south dividing line
Post by: slabslayer on December 30, 2016, 05:07:57 PM
Please vote for what you feel is the best option for the north vs south cut off. For example, I would think Indian lake would be a southern water.  But it's up to the majority.  :)

Latitude 40.5 is between US 30 and US 36.

Will need to check a map before I vote. Dividing line needs to be above I-70 or Buckeye Lake would be the only south lake with consistent  ice except during extremely cold winters.

I know.  That's why I was thinking using latitude instead of a highway. A 50/50 split isn't feasible with both lake locations and people locations. The north would have everyone and all the lakes.

To me:

South of 30 is South
North of 30 is North

Only in harsh winters would we expect to see anything South of 70 (except Buckeye) to freeze. You could draw a line down 77 and say anything East of it is part of the North. This evens the lakes up a bit.

I think 30 would probably work as that would give a lot more options for lakes in the south.
