Took a drive to Alum this afternoon. Obviously no hopes of fishable ice but, the lake is wide open with no signs of ice in any pockets/creeks that I could see. The water is very clear (blue color) so if it ices in the next couple of weeks we may be able to fish on it.

Work on the marina docks is in full swing. The area is fenced off so it's difficult to see progress. They have built a temporary roadway behind the restaraunt to get gear to the pontoons close to the breakwater.
