Title: First Strike Bite Indicator
Post by: 1BigIcehole on January 20, 2017, 02:26:41 PM
Has anybody seen or used one of these? Just ordered one to try out, neat concept. Maybe get to try it out this year.
I guess shopping online is what we do when there is no ice.

Thanks
Scott

Looks like a useful product. Hope you get a chance to use it and write a review.

That is what I thought. Simple idea less set up. I still like the Jawjacker for it setting the hook.
I should be able to try it out on a dock soon, will follow with a product review.

Did you get the rod holder too or just the strike indicator? Wonder if the ODNR will consider them tip-ups.

Did not get rod holder.
Great question.
In my mind it's a tip up. But in ODNR mind it's a mystery.

By my thinking, it should be considered a tip up. But, my thinking seems to get me in trouble frequently. LOL. Can't wait to hear how ti works.
