I just got off Nimmy for the late afternoon/early evening bite with my son, Nathan and mousejam James Miller. Started at 5:00pm and fished till 6:45. The bite was ok up till dark, but not the food frenzy of yesterday. Fished the same holes as yesterday. Minnows on gold spoons & glow jigs after sunset. Think the periodic high winds & rains were a factor in shutting the bite down.  We caught 15 perch & 1 gill. Still fishing on 6" of ice, but the shoreline is about kaput. We were the only ones on the ice. Think tonight is the last until we have another cold front.

was texting Joel,because I was thinking about the mourning,shore is okay with me ice thickness? should be still ok reading reports,been thicker than what I've been on last 4 days
