Wish my boat could hit the water soon. With  an inboard, I have to wait a while unless I want to winterize it again, which wouldn't be the first time. LOL! Winterized one boat 3 times one year.Caught fish on Erie in between so it was worth it.

I usually launch at Mazuriks, never launched at Huron. If I'm heading east I like Rocky River.

I never launched mazuriks, might give it a try soon. have used huron, lorain, beaver, shefield, avon, whisky, gordon, wildwood, geneva, conny. ect   being in akron I try to stay an hour travel to launch. but I'm wanting to fish the west side early this year.    maybe tag along with ya sometime my boat can keep up as long as there aren't 3 s and up , 90 merc on 17 ft crestliner.  hahahah  the fishing should be  the best ive seen since the 70s 80s ......cant wait

Same here!!  Got the boat ready this past weekend but can’t get out for a week or 2.  Having my wisdom teeth cut out tomorrow and doc says can’t drive for several days.  I’ll be out after crappies soon as I’m cleared.  Rods in the truck already!!!

Currently without a boat. Am planning on getting a bigger one that I can use on Erie. Until then if anyone has an open seat for the jig bite let me know. I have my own jig gear.

Thanks guys!  Teeth are out and no bruising or nerve damage.  Full feeling back in my face and mouth!  But the pain is tremendous.  Can’t drive for a week with the meds, but started Messing with Crappie gear when I got home as a distraction. All swelled up like a chipmunk but all in All it went great.  Helps to have a great surgeon.  Kudos to Dr Carpenter!

Glad everything turned out good for you slab. Hope the weather cooperates when you can drive again.  Doesn't sound like you will be missing anything at least by Dayton's weather, next 2 days rain then mid 40's for high the following 3 days. Doesn't matter, I will still hit Rocky Fork docks this weekend.

It’s improving. Slowly but surely.  Made it to the Fin yesterday to get out of the house.  Got a few things but didn’t last long......

I didn't get out as much as I wanted to with a new job and new house. Plus, the wife was in a head on crash at the end of the season and needed surgery. So hopefully things will settle down now.

Was in the garage today digging out the boat. Hard moving from a 3 bedroom farm house with 4 buildings to a 2 car 1 bed loft house. In the winter. We just kind of stacked stuff lol.

Covered up the shanty and stacked the gear together. Still got to store it for the year and get battery on charge. Lots of new stuff i did not get to try out.

Thinking a goal for next year will be to spend a few day in a on ice sleeper way up north. Most likely 2019-2020 season.
