Lucky you, I am so jealous!  Grand Lake St. Marys had skim ice about 1/8 to 1/4" thick on 12-12-2019, but warm temps overnight probably wiped it out.  Still just over freezing this morning.

Nothing here is close.   I did a pond check yesterday, locked with about an inch, but not walkable yet.   Close, but the weekend will hurt us a little here.   But next week will help.   Cold snap 2-3 days long with highs below freezing.

Hello all! I live near Richwood, Ohio and I got out on my 1 acre pond last Friday and Saturday. HAD about 3 inches of good ice! Caught 10 fish total. 2 -12inch slab perch, 3 small bass, 1 crappie which I did not stock, and 4 nice hybrid gills.

I keep trying to post a pic for the tournament, but no luck so far. I downloaded the image to the computer and then dragged the file and placed it under the logos on the entry form, but it isn't working for me.

Ok what you have to do is print out the form with the logos and take the pic of the fish on the form then put that pic in the thread. Look at previous years and you will see what I mean.

Not sure how it works with the new site format, but on the old site you had to resize the picture before you could upload it.

I am going to drill a test hole tomorrow in my pond. Let's hope for at least 3 inches. Gonna be real cold tonight. Might be the last chance for the season.

2 inches with water coming up and around the hole. Not safe. :-[  Maybe tomorrow?
