Post by: davidhoheisel on November 10, 2010, 10:48:41 AM
I would like to thank Norton Sporting Goods for sponsoring the Alum board.

Norton is located on route 23 north of Delaware reservoir.

They have a huge selection of guns, archery and fishing tackle. They are going to carry more ice fishing tackle now that they are a sponsor of IceFishOhio.

Here is there contact info. 100 Norton Rd Waldo, OH 43356-9005 (740) 726-2616 Norton Sporting Goods

Please support our sponsors.

Thanks!

All I have to say is its about time!!!
i live about 10 miles or more from any bait shop in central ohio and NONE of them carried ice fishing tackle or gear. nortons is always my first choice because its the closest to me than the others in the area but if i wanted ice fishing tackle i had to drive 40minutes to westerville or an hour to bass pro @ indian lake. glad to see nortons is finally ready to appeal to ALL types of anglers

Not trying to knock a sponsor, especially Nortons but there ice gear selection sucked the last couple years. Look at the time stamp on Dave's post and that was the last time they had good gear. Hell last winter they carried no minnows at all and only had waxies half the time. Now do t get me wrong I love Nortons. It is my number one shop for open water but for ice it's a no go. I usually drive to indian

I've noticed these things since posting that and I agree w you. I've not been impressed over the last handful of years with them during ice season but always go there first during open water
