Bummer they closed it to ice fishing.  Another casualty of the state budget cuts.  NEver did get to ice fish there.

No Catch and Release, they would still have to man the check-in station.   The last time I fished there in open water you had to give your fishing license to them in return for a permit.  Weh you were finished fishing, they would return you license when you gave them your permit back and they counted and recorded your fish, if you were allowed to keep any.
