Where are you located?  I've been wanting to try  those Gruv micro jig boxes if you still have them.  Thanks!

You going to be hooking it up to a drill, or just hand drilling?  Love my Nils, but they are expensive.  I've seen lots of great review on the Nero.  If you're hooking it up to a drill, I'd also take a strong look at the Strikemaster Lite-Flite.  New for this year, but seems to check off all the right boxes.  It'll be interesting to see how they review from everyone once we get some ice.

The 10-day is not looking good for ice :-(  I'm going north to Green Bay the first week of January in search of early ice and whitefish!

2020/2021 On-line Tournament! / Re: 2017/2018 online tournament.

If you are referring to Ice Shanty's photo contest then no you don't have to do anything like that here. Just print form, catch a fish, take a phot and post here.
Haha that's exactly what I was referring to.  Thanks!  And thank you for putting this on!  This is the first year I've done one of these, but it'll add some fun and friendly competition.

May be a dumb question, but I know on another site, you have to post in order to sign-up.  Do I need to do anything like that here to sign-up?  Or do I just print the page and take the pic as described in the rules, then post it?  Thanks!

Sandusky Bay / Sandusky Bay Ice Conditions?
« on: December 28, 2017, 07:46:34 AM »
Anybody have an ice report for Sandusky Bay?  It's over an hour drive for me, so I don't want to come up if it's not do-able.  I know no ice is "safe" and I have all the safety gear (float suit, picks, spud, cleats).  I've never fished up there, but would love a mess of perch.  I've got an Otter XTH Resort, heater, etc. if anyone wants to show me the ropes, I'd be happy to bring the gear!

Guys there is 4 inches and better at Mosquito. There on it now and posting videos on FB.

Do you mind sharing which FB group?  I'm planning on going this weekend and just kind of following the crowds.  I would imagine any area with quick depth changes would be okay.  I was looking on the Navionics page earlier...

Classifieds / Weber Genesis II E-310 - $550
« on: August 16, 2017, 09:10:13 AM »
I've got a brand new Weber Genesis II E-310. Still in the box, and just don't have a need for it since I have the small Spirit E-210 that serves me well and I just got last year. I have the receipt for the E-310 so you can register it for the warranty and everything. Price is currently $699 at Walmart, Home Depot, and Lowes, so you can save yourself $150 plus tax from buying it at the store. Live in Lakewood, work in Strongsville, so I can deliver around there. 440-570-7732. Thanks!

Too much current ripping around there.  The ice is never safe. Just go out out Catawba and follow the path
