So hows the ice? Anyone do well ice fishing here?

I have done well in the past for crappie & gills. Haven't been up to check ice yet. Today we're getting hit with up to 9" of snow. Barton & McKarns was wide open on Tuesday. My pond's been covered with snow for over a week and only 2-2 1/2" of black ice yesterday. Hoping to get by Nettle this week to check.

Hope to get away from jobsite tomorrow to drive by Nettle before dark to see what shape it's in.

Did a drive by at Nettle lake today. 95% locked up. No has been out yet this year. Open water near point that was full of geese. Won't be much longer with the weather forecast.
