I fished a channel on the north side today.  Got 2 keeper crappie and some gills to keep the action steady.  I still have a hard time figuring out how a gill can be taking in a jig, still going down on the spring bobber and not get hooked.

I hope you did better than I did today Bryan78.

I'm using tiny jigs. Still miss plenty of them. I had good luck using a bobber alongside my flasher. Some of the bites are hard to feel and it's easier to notice the bobber moving. Caught some real nice ones today.

Last Saturday the gills were in there hot and heavy. I did the best on a small tear drop that was all gold. They were hammering it. How's the ice condition and good luck might see tomorrow
