Got a report from buddy today. Marked a ton of fish in 12 fow in stumps. Lots of lookers but no takers today with this new 3 to 6 inches of snow coming. He didn't have minnows. Approx. 18 inches of ice. Supposedly crappie are rebounding well since draining and restock about 10 years ago. I'm planning to head there next weekend and give it a try and will post results.
