Skim Ice on Channels 11-17-2014

Even before tonight's cold temps, there is already skim ice on some channels.  I wish I had enough faith to think that it would stick around long enough to become walkable.  Sunday is supposed to be mid 40's and rain.  Still nice to see ice this early in the season!

Even with 25-30 mph winds, the main lake has ice over most of it.  With night #2 down near single digits, there will be some braves souls that will venture out on Friday and most likely join the polar bear club.  I will not be one of them!

Too bad the weekend looks like a warm one but at least the water has shown it is willing to freeze, algae and all.
