I was thinking about picking one up this year. Any recommendations? Also if you know any one who has a used one they aren't using that would be good too.

I have an FL-20 and would not fish without it.  If you are buying new, go all out and get the new FL-28.  Used, go with the FL-18 or FL-12.
Pro ice fisherman, amateur icefishing catcherman.

Couldn't agree more!   I have an 18 and a 28, both amazing units. You wouldn't be disappointed either way.
