Got out on the ice for the first time this year today. Small half acre pond out side of Cardington. 4.5" of ice. 3" of clear on the bottom with 1.5" of cloudy on top. Caught 4 bass, biggest was pushing 3lbs and 1 channel about 4lbs. 6.5' of water (ponds not that deep) water clarity +3'. Fished about an hour. hope to hit it hard the next 3 days.
