Fished 3/7/15 from 7 am and walked off at 10 pm. Nice day, a little windy but nice. Fished SE end in 18 fow. Lots n lots of perch 9"or less and a handful of small gills. Most were caught on black, gold or blue jigs tipped with minnows. Tried Maggis n waxies but no dice. Moved a few times but never really got into the crappie or eyes. Did manage to land a few suspended crappie after dark 5-10 foot off bottom. Largest was 11 but others were 9-10". Snow on ice was light. 4" compact down. Not a bad drag at all.
