How's the ice looking guys? I'd assume we've lost an inch or so, but I'm more worried and cracks, and the ice surface. I plan on going out this weekend and would like to know if I should be prepared for a slush fest.

I was on Nimi this morning and it was fine. Edges were good and the surface wasn't too bad. That said, by the time I left at 1 it was starting to get slushy. If you're going this weekend if wear boys and spikes. It'll be watery on top and slicker than snot with tomorrow's rain coming in. And rain Saturday for that matter too. The ice was holding a good 14" though with about 7" white on top of 7" good hard clear ice. Might need a plank Sunday though if the rain ruins the edges.
