Bait Buckets....

Maybe a dumb question but does anyone have a recommendation on a bait bucket for use on the ice? I've just realized that the bucket I have (the ones with the red top) will spill water everywhere if I put it on my sled and pull it up hill and down dale. I've seen an 8qt frabil bait bucket that looks like a cooler with a sealable top.

Any thoughts/suggestions.....I may be overthinking this...

I have the frabill cooler type and they leak as well.

On erie we use a plastic coffee can with a hole in it for the areator. Then stick a Styrofoam minnow bucket in a 5 gallon bucket and put the container in it with the lid on. Thread the air hose through the Styrofoam lid and put that lid on with the areator on top then a lid on the 5 gallon bucket.

I know it seems like a bunch but we never have spills. (Maybe a little water in the Styrofoam container) never have frozen minnows and never drunk an areator. Always have live bait. Unless you forget fresh batteries. Lol done that too. We pull it behind the quad.

I've used the plastic coffee cans, standard plastic & insulated minnow buckets and a large plastic 'thermos".  All have their pluses & minuses.  This season, I'm looking at Frabil's & Clams new entries in the bait hauler market.

Yeah I usually just use a small plastic or Styrofoam bucket inside a 5 gal bucket. Keeps the water from splashing in my sled. I don't see the need to spend a bunch of money on a fancy bucket. But that's just me. ..

Where do you find the Aerobait bucket?  I will try googling it what I am done here, but I would rather try to find one in a local bait shop or Wally Mart type store.
