OMG! We all need to go to New York to a nerdy quiz. While we are there there will be torrential rain followed by huge waves! We'll have to run to the Library to take shelter and later watch a ship float down the road next to us. Everything will soon freeze so we can ice fish for a few hours before super freezing air from the iotropic(whatever)sphere touches down and freezes everything so bad that our augers can't get through the ice. Luckily, one of our fathers is a climatologist and told us that we need to get inside and burn books to stay warm. A few days later he arrives having walked from Philly where he left his truck. Chinook Helicopters come and evacuate us to Mexico - no more ice fishing for a while but at least we got out once!

Points for naming the movie!

  Wow, not sure what happened in that last post but I felt like I was swept away to a Bruce Willis movie set. Crazy, guess I better stock up on books. Brrrr!

Movie was day after tomorrow. Dug thru my movies to find it. Perfect storm was the boat that sunk off New England.

Tackle is about ready but havent gotten the Clam Nanook down from the garage rafters.

Looks like I may have to make time this weekend to do so if this Artic Blast arrives

Hope so. Just found out yesterday I get 4 days off for Christmas. Be nice to spend them on the ice. But I'm not getting too excited yet.

im looking for a small window soon to get up to huron and troll up some eyes before the freeze   eh....  THEN  i will rig up the ice gear...
