Was out checking this morning. State park is locked up 100% and the dog park is 75%.  All is snow covered. Main body is still open, but is starting to skim.

I think I'm fishing Saturday snowcone. Bet u a cuo of coffee!!!!!

man if you can get out   happy   happy,    and I like cream and sugar in mine   hehehh..  yea with these temps it seems to be happening faster . it would be great to get out before jan this year, so   I'm crossing my fingers and gassin up the sled...

Short term lookin good!!  Might get Friday in some places. Just hoping Saturday with 50 and rain doesn't do anything but melt the snow and gen refreeze when it goes to 20 Saturday night. Could build ice really fast if that happens!!

The temps are forecast to remain low until Saturday. I think we'll make enough ice to survive the weekend and the mercury heads back into the basement.

Just got off Mosquito this evening 12/21  4" mostly clear ice at state park.

Any info on where bait is being purchased? I called causeway and got the recording on the way home from work. The message stated closed until ice season. Anyone have any info, or another option? Thx
