Anyone been by today? I wouldn't think it would have anything to walk on but was wondering if it was opening up. Looking at north fork area. I may have to make a trip to check tomorrow.

There is milky looking ice and open water everywhere I checked. Saw one saugeye caught by moundwood.

I would guess the Moundwood Saugeye was caught from the bank?  I would guess the ice is gone there from the current.

Yeah they are fishing from the bank. Still had a bunch of ice but I would think it should be gone by mid week.

May have to take the 12 ft. aluminum boat and drag it down and fish north fork this weekend. Food for thought.

I have mine on top of the truck ready for deer creek if it warms up. Gotta get my crappie fix somehow!!  Hopefully it'll be this weekend.

If I can't get the big boat in I'll bring the flat back canoe and trolling motor. You know all those eyes are just sitting there waiting on us

Fished Moundwood and Dunn's pond today. Marked some fish but no takers. Water was high and muddy. Saw a few saugeyes caught by casters throwing jigs at moundwood but nothing big. Back to the docks at Rocky tomorrow.
