Fishing Marinas

IFO Members,

Although I have fished hard water for Walleye, Perch, Pike, etc....I would like to start fishing marinas/lagoons for Crappie. Is it legal to fish marinas as long as you don't step on docks/land?

Shouldn't be an issue most places. There are several lakes that leave their docks in and pull the boats out and allow you to fish right off the docks in the winter. I'm not sure where you're thinking of fishing but I would look for signs or ask the local park ranger. But I don't see you having any issues.
