Anyone get out and catch and decent numbers today?

Hows the water clarity?

Could not make it out today but going to head up tomorrow and pray it does not rain!

Just left ice   Fished around north fork area all day
Worst day in ice all year. Zero keeper eyes or crappie. Terrible.

We fished North Fork area from about 7:30 to about noon.  Only got one nibble.  Water was a little murky.  Ice was sketchy particularly as you went up the river but areas were up to 8 in but it could be as thin as 3 in or less within 20 yards.  We heard a lot of cracking as people moved and drilled on the ice.  Check it regularly if you go.

Crossed over Long Island and fished the the Pony Island side until about 3:30p.  Caught 2 gills.  Water had better clarity.  Ice was a little more consistent around 8 in.  We didn't hear nearly as much cracking around us.

Bad day over all for us but at least I didn't get skunked like my brother in law.

I fished with MDBuckeye today we went on the back side of pony. To the northwest just east of the hunting blind. Jason caught a few keeper gills and I caught a short one. Highlight of the day for me was when this wanted to eat my little banana jig tipped with two red spikes.

I must have been standing on my head. Jason did like lunch on the lake, I cooked brats on my heater rack.

Thanks for the info fellas. Think I am going to head up in the morning and see what the ice is like at Lucy’s. Bringing my buddy for his first time ice fishing and he is a big boy. Hope the ice holds!!

I'm returning to the same area to cook more brats and hopefully catch more fish.

Fished Dunn's yesterday and got 2 keeper eyes, 1 short crappie and 1 huge white bass. Missed a few and lost a nice eye and a keeper crappie. Lot of marks but not a lot of bites.
