Started fishing at dusk this evening for an hour and a half. Heavy, deep snow on top of heavy, deep slush. Plenty of ice, though the water was over the fishing holes. .
Marked a ton of fish in 21FOW from the bottom up five or six feet. Lots of lookers but no takers on plastics and tiger jigs. Another guy was doing just as well with a live bait mix.
Did I mention lots of snow and slush? I'm getting old.
