Got a four day weekend and thinking about making the drive north this weekend to do some fishin, whats the word?

going up to fletchers pond near hillman mi.  hope to catch some crappies and perch

I have been to fletchers and its great but I had a buddy go up earlier this way and it was on/off. Too bad its such a long drive!

About how far you have to go to get decent ice

from columbus bout 5 or 6, depending on traffic. Go every year its a good time easy lake to fish

well fletchers pond was a bust lots of dinks and one lone pike.  with the exception of the pike felt like i was fishing out of blackhawk.  beautiful lake and scenery.  had a good time and pleasent company
