Hit the south end again today. I fished in 14 fow managed 2 eyes and lots of crappie all on a Vibe. Might be my last day for a while. Wait and see if the artic blast comes after this warm up. Crossing my fingers. It was sure nice to get out and ice a few eyes.

Yes I will be there. Whats the plan? Do I bring all my gear? I dont plan on going out to fish as the ice is a little sketchy and I wont be able to get out where I want to. Are we just setting up out from shore? I only talked with David briefly. Should I be there at 8? Please fill me in. Thanks

I'm going to be there around 8.  We're going to do most of the shoot by the bait shop.  But if the ice is safe, and there's time for her to do it, Dave wants me to briefly discuss ice safety and the different types of ice.  We were hoping to do this either on the ice or at it's edge.  We also were hoping to have a few shanties set up in the background if there is safe ice and go out there and film a couple anglers fishing with their catches.....if it works!   I'm bringing my gear, if that helps.

Just got a report from my buddy coming off the ice on south end. Ice is cracking and sagging with foot traffic. Lets hope we get the artic blast. Its over for me anyhow til we get good ice. Be careful to those brave enough to venture out.
