I know that Jason Mitchell makes a good product, I am just wondering if he will ever come out with a ugly stick type rod...one that is Scott proof :)

I called Jason Mitchell yesterday he actually answered and talked with me for 10 minutes. I thanked him for supporting our site. He is a really nice guy.

He asked me to send in pictures of my broken rod too. Great company to work with...we will see what they can do. I will post the results.

Glad to hear that.  I have several Jason Mitchell rods and love them.  Glad to know they stand behind their product!

After talking with Jason Mitchell directly my inquiry was handeled by a great lady in the Clam customer service area named Rosann Shafer...she has worked there for 3 years and loves working for Matt, Dave and Jason. She Ice Fishes and stands behind their product!

And she replaced my broken Jason Mitchell rod. Great company to work with.

That's cool, most companies take your money and don't care about customer service.  Nice to know they're different.
