I too was able to check out my new black betty combo on Sunday.  I have nothing bad to say about it at all.  The 27" rod my have been slightly long for my pak shack shanty, but it performed perfectly nonetheless.

i checked it out and if i dont jerk my drill out of the hole it doesnt clean any jagged ice left in the inside..
