Well went out near pine tree bay from 9:30am to 3pm. My buddy came out around 1pm but before that i managed to get tons of gill all around 8in, crappie the smallest was 9in and around two dozen perch but they were all small. The ice had a lot of water on top when i left but the fish were still biting really well especially the crappie. Too bad i didnt get to see slab today maybe next season haha

Well guys ended the ice fishing season yesterday out at pizza bay. Fished from 12:30pm to 6pm and caught about 40 fish total but no keepers. For those of you wanting to go out again i would really hesitate going because when i left there was water laying out 4 feet from shore and was about a foot deep. The ice was also starting to melt very quickly towards the end of the day and it go so bad that you would take a step and sink down almost 3 inches. But the good news is that i managed to get over two dozen crappie all about 8 1/2 inches and every single one was on neon orange pin min with a wax worm, they wouldnt have anything to do with minnows yesterday. Be safe if you guys do go out

I would like to say thank you to everyone on the site. So far this season i have fished more new lakes then i ever have in the past six years and its all thanks to you guys. I went from only fishing saltfork and atwood to moving up to turkeyfoot, nimisila, and lake cable. Being able to hear new advice and fishing tips has helped me and my buddy out so much and we plan on going out next year to more new lakes and putting the tips and information on here to help anyone else out  ;D

Well went out today with my uncle and really got into the large gills and crappie. Fished the same spot as always and still had at least 7-8 inches of ice left! The bite was slow with the crappie but they were down there, caught two nice keepers and had four come loose right at the hole  :-\ We fished from 1-7 and had about two dozen 8-9inch redears and four 10inch crappie so all in all it was a very good day, well other then the snow and wind coming out of no where ha ha

Well we really slammed the bluegill yesterday. Fished from 1 to 7 and couldn't keep the poles in the water, we ended up getting over 100+ fish yesterday but only about two dozen of them were keepers. Had a couple keeper crappie but most of them were half an inch too small and biggest fish of the day was a 9 1/2 inch pumkinseed that was caught on a small chartreuse spoon. Might go back up today depending on the weather

Well me and my buddy went up Friday around 4-7 in the afternoon to turkeyfoot to test things out again. We didn't do as good as last time but we managed to get about two dozen small bluegill and eight crappie about 10inches. We were fishing in 8 fow and were catching them about two feet of the bottom.Funny thing was that we saw tons and tons of shad swimming right by our holes, so we decided to move the bait up so we were fishing only about 2 feet deep and that's when we started getting the crappie before it got to dark to see anymore. Has anyone ever seen shad run like that so far up by the ice?
