General Discussion / Re: New Honda powered StrikeMaster
« on: February 26, 2014, 11:56:57 AM »
There are issues with the blades, they didnt stay sharp. Its a common problem and the factory is replacing the blades with new ones. but they arnt any better. the unit is heavy with the the battery on it. it does hold a good charge, it will outlast the blades. I had a 1980's jiffy that was to heavy for my advanced age and went that route and it didnt work out.  the season is just to short to mess around.

Just received my Honda powered StrikeMaster to replace the ION I just sold. Filled it with gas 2 pulls and it runs like a top. I was nervous that being a 4 stroke it would be to heavy for me to carry, but it nice and lite weight. Perfect!  I’m certainly not going to miss the ion

I'm in! Two man team? Please don't line this up with the NAIFC tourneys that are close by.

Wes you shouldn't be allowed to fish any tourneys due to the fact that you are the fish whisperer. unless its 2man teams then ill fish with you. ha-ha

Fished turkey Foot, south west of the swimmers beach and did well. Ice is still strong enough for a quad or sled but is opening up around the moose.

We fished the north east corner and the southwest corner and the stumps. Wes caught a 27" eye in the first 5 min and I caught 2 under 15" then nothing..... The BG would bite at the stumps but thats it.
