IDK about the gills. I was on the main lake, perch and shad non-stop action just wish they were bigger. I love being on the quad with a gas auger!

Haha gotcha...I carry around a small Honda inverter generator in a sled and have my auger on a power drill as my power auger! Haha real quiet and can really rock some holes out! Lol...are tou doing any fishing this weekend? Im thinkin im going to be at indian sunday and be in the sled...

I think we were the only quads on the lake. no shortage of snowmobiles. We had 22 keeper (worth cleaning) perch between the 3 of us on sat. over 120 shad.

Find a steep drop off with a flat, and fish the flat. On Indian I will not give exact locations because word travels too fast. The one thing I will tell you, where the perch are people aren't fishing!
