saugeye/walleye for me,theres nothin like jigging a vibe and felling like you snaged the bottom on the up jig, just cant really get into pan fishing, although i did catch my biggest gill at indian last year!

After weighing the pros and cons ( for me and dad) We ended up getting the clam voyager. Can't wait to get it on the ice!! Thanks again for the help!

Want to do some shopping tomorrow mornin for some new ice gear. (shanty, rods, etc.) where do you think is better? Bass pro or cabelas? And is the bass pro in Dundee better for ice gear, than cinncinatti? Been looking at the 2 man clam w sled.... Never had clam... Is it durable? Thanks for the help!

just got home from buckeye....fairfield has 5-7 in of black ice...saw open water near the marsh....talked to jim at the baitstore on thurs the 6th and he said there were a couple guys fishing the marsh on weds. the 5 th on 3 in......as for the fishing....it still stinks.....didnt see many fish caught

talked to a buddy last night and he said the lake was open friday and froze over saturday.....weather looks pretty good from what ive seen.
