Title: Lake St. Clair Fishing report From Sportsmen's Direct

Ice yesterday was 1 to 4 inches and growing. So use your spud and check before every step. Some guys are doing really well, they have been cutting and moving and hunting for the fish, so if you don't get anything in the 1st 10 t 20 mins move around a little.

The Deadline for to get in on the Biggest Perch contest is Dec 15th , you can enter has many perch has you like but we only keep your biggest fish. Rules are on the counter in the store.

Gill/Sunnies: Guys are report some very good catches to limits of Gills and Sunnies. The guys catching some of the bulls have been doing well with the Versa-mite from J and S rigged on a Tungsten jig or a Banana Jig.

Crappies: They have been mixed in with the gills and Sunnies.

Perch: Guys are just now starting to get out on the main lake in a few areas.I had a few guys that fished the spillway yesterday said they caught a good number of perch they just had to do some sorting.Marks and Diamond willows have been doing well on the spoons front. Polish perch (http://"https://www.sportsmensdirect.com/store/index.php?cPath=0_23_73_68_713") and plastics have also taken a fair amount of fish for guys.

Here is our latest entry into the Big Perch contest it was 11 3/4 inches long and weighted in at 14.2 oz.
