Finally got on today! 3inches max and not totally safe but
I had all my safety gear. Set up in 11 feet of water and started marking active fish instantly. Caught a few dinks then started marking crappie up 6 feet. Bam big hit, I set the hook, and bam my rod snaps
Ended up pullling two 12-13 inch crappies out and had to call it a day because that was the only rod I had on me. My best panfish rod! Oh well, Im going to give it a week to let the ice get real thick now that I got my fix out.
