Title: End of season storage tip
Post by: davek on February 14, 2011, 12:29:47 PM
Well Guys and Gals, from what i am reading your season in Ohio could come to an abrupt end. Sad to say our 10 day forecast shows much of the same, at least we have been on 2 feet of ice most anywhere so hopefully we will get by. I've read a lot of classifieds this year on various sites for used ice fishing shanties and one of the biggest problem with them has been small mouse holes so here is a simple way to avoid the critter invasion in the summer..... Dryer sheets or moth balls. The dryer sheets smell better in the fall of course when you get them back out. Just a thought for everyone an ounce of prevention you know. Be safe and as the ice gets worse spend a little more time with your spud bars.  Teach a child to fish. Dave
