ODNR Warns of Ice Dangers at Portage Lakes

Seems they are working on one of the flow control gates and had to lower the levels... BE SAFE and STAY OFF for awhile.
Take a kid fishing and pass it on.

Did they complete the repairs to the gate this week so us hardwater addicts can fish Portage Lakes the weekend of Jan 22-23?

I just received a phone call from a Coventry Fireman stating Portage Lakes were drawn down to a maximum of 24"... and to STAY OFF until atleast Saturday, 1/22
