Drove by on the way out yesterday and saw the lake was 50% open water on the Rt 224 side. It was much better on the far shore, but didn't check any ice thickness, had a car full of family. Did take a minor detour to see the lake though!

I dont know about now, but back in the late 80's we used to catch alot of walleye there. Not alot of size but good eaters.

Yea that was the good old days.. old being key word here,havent seen or heard if wally in there for 20 yrs
