Can you ice fish on the Scioto river beyond the Griggs Reservoir area - north of the Fishinger bridge? Columbus police stopped me and stated against Columbus city code, but I have not been able to find any code that states you cannot ice fish on a Columbus river. Ice on the river at this time is at least 6", so it is over the recommended depth.
