Title: shanty retrieval
Post by: Doug Stewart on January 26, 2010, 11:17:39 PM
I took the boat out to buckeye today to retrieve my ice shanty. It had drifted to the east near harbor hills. There was still ice to the east .We tore the shanty up trying to tow it so we took it apart and got it in the boat.We dropped the shanty off and fished for about an hour. We saw lots of suspended fish in the center of the marsh area but with 20 to 30 mph winds we had no luck catching. I'm still cold and the boat is covered in ice lol. I think when i rebuild the shanty i'm going to put in a see through basement level this time.lol

Maybe add pontoons to it and we could fish out of it.

Sorry to hear about that Doug.
