We had a much better day of fishing today and a great turn out considering it was the last day of deer season and a prediction for scattered showers.
The weatherman missed that one. It rained from the time I said start until around 11:am.
It has been great to see so many new faces today. We had 14 participants with 8 new fisherman.
Mike even made it down from Toronto, Canada and caught his first Saugeye ever in practice.
The fishing was much better today as there were over 8 saugeye's caught but only 3 were keepers. Everyone caught crappie and of course I caught another carp.
The winner of Today's crappie pot and Dave Genz Rod and Reel combo went to new member Damian B with a nice one that weighed .74lbs. Great Job Damian!
The Saugeys pot went to Tin Guppy with a 15 incher that weighed 1.18 lbs. Great Job Tin Guppy!
We will be at the Fin next weekend and back at the Alum Docks on the 16th.
