Broke down and bought a new Eskimo Evo1 crossover shanty, can't wait to try it out.

Thanks! Only weighs 50# and that's with the swivel seat. The lighter weight and about 20sq ft of fishing area is what made me bite.

Let us know how you like it. I looked at it hard before I bought the Kenai Pro Thermal. Only reason I didn't get one was; I wasn't sure about being able to flip up for just a wind break or the ability to just flip up and move without folding everything down.

Eskimo did it right. Them and otter are my two favorites. I have a two man thermal clam and like it, but a heavy trudge to the fishing spot.
