Fished the North East end for ~4hrs., 22 fow, 12" ice.  Jigs with Chicken skin strip.  Aggressive jigging technique caught fish, sit and wait, not so much.  Coulda' kept a few but returned for next guy.
Four other shanties, one bucket sitter who appeared to be doing ok.
May go back tomorrow if not too much snow.

well not exactly, started ice fishing with my grandfather on Sandusky Bay in the 50's, fishing from/off period correct wooden sled and kero lantern heater.   
Now have nifty brand new Frabill and propane heat.
