Son-in-law & I hit the hump area early- drilled holes & sat up the 2 man- were into the fish from get go- all gills & crappie- action was good for 2-21/2 hrs and then slowed dramatically- nursed a few more & called it quits at 11:30. Best lures were Rat Finkees glow head w/pink tipped with spikes or waxies. Cleaned 26 nice gills & 14 crappies (9-12"). 11 of the crappie were female with eggs- looks like the open water season will be a good one & a big thanks to the Friends of CJ for all their work- hope to join you on a weekend if possible.
