Title: ice at the docks??
Post by: buster on January 09, 2015, 07:02:46 PM
Want to go fishing this weekend but not sure if I trust the new ice that's around. Does anyone know if the docks at alum are locked up think I will bring the frabill out and fish from the dock just wondering if I need to bring an auger or something to break up ice. Anyone with any info please help, would like to go in the morning

Thanks, be safe, and tight lines,
Ty

Hey ty you can always take along your auger and still sit on the dock and fish the hole you drilled, don't go alone or out on ice that is sketchy it's not worth it, drill ad many holes beside those docks as needed!

I fished the docks tonight. Some ice is 4 inches some ice is less than 2. I went after dark and alone or would have moved around and checked things out more. Fish were biting.
