Thanks guys!
Hey g, she's been fishing with me! Some of those fish were hers! She even landed the 28" fish by herself when I was away from the shanty for about ten minutes helping a friend.
We went back out this morning and it wasn't very hot, mom caught another 28" and we both lost one on the way up. That was the only action. Lots of marks but no takers.

Sweet. The memories just keep building for both of you. Great job Bryan. What general area are you fishing? Good luck to you and your mom. Hopefully she can beat last years hog. Be safe.

Congrats on the fish. We are headed to Erie Sunday, would appreciate any tips on depth, bait or how far out you were. Thanks.

Great bunch of fish!! They make the cooler look like a lunch pale cooler. ;D

Thanks guys!
I fish off of Middle Bass island, a mile out towards Rattlesnake island. Not really accessible from the main shore.
My standard "go to" lure is the #6 Swedish Pimple, chrome/yellow. I jig 2 or 3 cranks up from the bottom.
