Title: Used my old/new vexelar FL8!
Post by: CFosterI on January 09, 2014, 08:41:55 PM
I have ice fished for the last 5 years and did all right. I picked up an old an old Vexliar FL8 this year. Wow, how did I ever ice fish without this.
I caught 25 last night on a 1 acre pond in Cardington. 6"OF ice, 6 gills over 8" one crappie over 12" I went to a 3 acre pond today. 6" of ice.  We kept 74 gills over 8" put more than that many back. Best day ice fishing ever! It was like playing a video game. If your not using electronics you need to get one. All caught on 1/32 oz jigging spoon with # 14 treble tipped with wax worm. I will be going back out tomorrow. Will let you know how it goes. Good luck everyone!
