Picked up Nixmkt Tom last Saturday and did my annual, pre-season jaunt to the local area stores to check out their ice gear, tackle, equipment & clothing.
Gander Mtn: Good Tackle & Rod Selection & Tub/Sled Selection Dick's. Hardly anything in Ice Gear Fin: Nice Tackle, minimal rod selection, carrying 2 Clam Shanty's Kames: Power Augers, but hardly any ice gear.
None of the stores had any Ice Shanty's on Display.
Without a doubt whatsoever, Mark's in Ravenna is still tops in Ice Gear.

Had a pleasant surprise when out of the blue, Scott (aka 1BigIceHole) called me today to check on my recuperation for Rotator Cuff Surgery., (Done Thursday 11/12). Found out his background is in the Medical Industry.
His insights, comments and tips along with Nixmkt Tom's & Slabslayer Joel's really helped my situation.
Slabslayer Joel had the very same surgery done by the same Surgeon & Hospital this past Spring. (Dr Mark Shepard & Canton Mercy Hospital). Both were absolutely OUTSTANDING.
Thanks Guys.
