ice is okay but the shore is getting bad so check it all and be careful  :)

Ice is good like post said the shore is the trouble only find couple of good spots to get on in long Island area.

We fished Long Island Sunday, like previoulsy stated, the edges are iffy. We put in at the first pull off and walked out. There were a few guys parking at the bridge and finding a way onto the ice. Once you are on the ice it was anywhere 5-7". We ended up keeping about 35 gills, crappies and a couple perch. Bite was slow and they were finicky.
